Hi-Sat - Ku-band Antennas for Mobile In-Vehicle Entertainment
Project Objectives

This project is aimed at the development of low-profile and low-cost hybrid mechanical-electronic steerable antenna concepts that will allow reception of the signal transmitted by Ku-band geostationary satellites to cars and other vehicles.

NATALIA: New Automotive Tracking Antenna for Low-cost Innovative Applications
Project Objectives
The objective of the NATALIA project is to realise a Ku-band antenna front-end which will be part of a mobile satellite terminal for automotive applications. The complete demonstrator will consists not only of the antenna front-end envisaged here, but also of a receiver front-end which is being developed in a separate project. The NATALIA antenna has to be fully electronically steerable,receive-only, and will be suited for customised KU-band broadcast services of providers like SES Astra.
