JAST has successfully completed development of two prototype antennas, HiSat-3000 RX and HiSat-6000R, in conjunction with the European Space Agency (ESA) to address mobile SatCom requirements. These Ku-band hybrid phased arrays have the potential of enabling a wide range of mobile applications, including radio, traffic data, video and vehicle software updates.
The HiSat antennas use JAST's patented hybrid phased array technology to produce an aerodynamic design while offering broader scan capabilities and lower element counts than traditional phased array technologies. The antennas have been demonstrated in several public workshops and are in the process of being made available commercially.
