About JAST

JAST is a Swiss company specializing in antenna development for fixed and mobile satellite telecommunications.
 
In August 2007, we were acquired by ViaSat Inc. (Carlsbad, CA, USA). As part of Antenna Systems, we offer our customers antenna and ground station design, fabrication, test, and installation, plus antenna maintenance services.
 
JAST is organized as a fab-less company with control on the fundamental aspects of the value chain of our products and focusing on innovative designs and manufacturing processes.

Contract awards include multiple research and development projects with the European Space Agency (ESA) and European Union (EU) to provide antenna and phased array design expertise from L-Band to Ka-Band.

We were founded in 1998 as a spin-off of the Laboratoire d’Electromagnétisme et d’Acoustique of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne and our headquarters is in Lausanne, Switzerland.
